We invade their nations, overthrow their democratically elected governments, destroy their infrastructure, drone bomb their weddings, funerals, and birthday parties, kill their women and children, torture them, lock them up indefinitely in Gitmo without charges or trials, occupy their holy land, supply their enemies with weapons and training, and yet America still holds on to this infantile idea that they hate us because we are free.
Which also demands that Americans deny that we are not free.  The government takes half our income through taxation, prints money to pay for its wars and unconstitutional programs which deflates the purchasing power of our money, reads our emails, pilfers our bank records, collects our phone call and text message information, locks up people for nonviolent, victimless crimes, creates free speech zones, sets up unconstitutional check points, gropes people wanting to travel by airplane, restricts the self-defense weapons we can buy and carry, demonizes anyone who dissents from “normal” political views, manipulates the press, restricts what we can eat and drink, forces young people to register for military conscription, and prosecutes anyone who reveals their crimes to the public.

None of this justifies terrorism.

How did you get “terrorism is okay” out of that?

"There is no longer any doubt whatsoever that the US government is lawless, that it regards the US Constitution as a scrap of paper, that it does not believe Americans have any rights other than those that the government tolerates at any point in time, and that the government has no fear of being held accountable by the weak and castrated US Congress, the sycophantic federal courts, a controlled media, and an insouciant public.

Cop Sexually Assaults Woman Then Arresting Her For Protesting

As if that wasn’t enough for them, they sent her child to protective services and put the mother in jail for “making false allegations against a police officer”, which is actually not a crime. Now that it’s been revealed she was telling the truth, not only is the cop fired, but even the judge who sat there and let it happen is under investigation.

never forget, acab.

physically painful to watch.

this news station actually just used a trigger warning though!

Oh my god that poor woman.

Is her child back with her? I hope she sues the fuck out of that whole department for what she had to go through.

I almost never reblog stuff of this nature for reasons, and I admit I couldn’t make it through this video all the way. But watching a woman get arrested for reporting a sexual assault in a courtroom, in front of a judge who’s playing with her two year old daughter while she screams, “why are you doing this to me?” is seriously the worst thing I have ever had the misfortune to witness.

This is the Handmaid’s Tale in real life times a million.

I’m fuck sick right now. Jesus.

I’m going to have fucking nightmares about this.

I hope every single person involved with this and with covering it up going to jail and then hell. Fuck they need to be UNDER the jail. Dig a fucking hole.

holy god this made me sick

Pigs do shit like this all the time. ACAB

If you can watch this without raging then you aren’t made of human

"This is what is going to save our republic, in the end: the existence of people like Edward Snowden, who, I’m not surprised to learn, contributed $250 to Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential campaign. The whole tenor of his remarks to the Guardian bespeaks an explicitly libertarian critique of the “authoritarian mindset” – as he puts it – of the government spies who are tracking our every move. This video interview with Snowden, conducted by Glenn Greenwald, literally brought tears to my eyes: one could not possibly hope for a clearer, more eloquent indictment of the emerging American police state than Snowden’s withering analysis of what he calls “the architecture of oppression.” Here is someone who gave up a comfortable life in Hawaii as a highly-paid government contractor and now risks jail – “I do not expect to see home again” – and eternal exile. Why did he do it? To give the American people the information they need to decide whether they want to live in a society where government spying on citizens is ubiquitous. His greatest fear? It’s not imprisonment, but the fear that his act will change nothing."

“you shouldn’t be walking alone at this time of night”

no

actually

people shouldn’t fucking attack other people at any time of day

Wow ur right I guess it’s okay to walk alone at this time of night because now that you’ve identified the REAL issue, it’s no longer a problem.

You’re giving advice to someone in order to prevent a possible beating, theft, rape, etc.? How does it feel to be literally Hitler?
